So I’m here at work, so far its been a pretty good shift since the ward is capped at 20 patients tonight. Only problem is I have a patient who takes ages to get to the toilet, another one who needs a suppository (but this one goes in the frontsies) and another one who seems to be immune to the effects of Endone.
They’re not a bad bunch though. They’re nice, don’t ring the buzzer constantly and can get up to pee. What more could a nurse ask for?
So I just walked into my housemates room on my way to the laundry, without knocking, thinking that since it was the weekend he wouldn’t be in there. Well guess what? He was there and he wasn’t alone.
Now normally I would have been mortified, but today for some reason I just mumbled “Sorry”, closed the door and went back to my room. I was a little bit embarrassed, but what I mostly felt was annoyance at not being able to do my laundry. How am I going to get clean clothes?!
I don’t know if this means that I’m becoming more confident or if I just don’t get embarrassed as easily as I did before. Either way I like it.
So I’m really hating someone from work right now. Let’s just say that if I was brave enough, I would go right up to him and say, “Fuck you Woody*.”
Sure he may be smart, and I’d be glad to learn from him, but his personal skills need some improvement. Sometimes they need a lot of improvement.Â
Anyway, I can’t really type anymore, too tired. Let’s just say that on the way home I wanted to get mugged just so that I wouldn’t have to turn up to work tomorrow, cause I know he’ll be on then.
