wtf Quickflix?

Today I amused myself on the walk home by watching my walking progress on Google Maps on my iPhone, although I’m sure that it made me look like a retard, it was fun stalking myself as I walked the 100 metres back to my driveway.

But I digress.

I checked my mailbox as I walked up the drive, and joy! There were three envelopes from Quickflix in there. Now I know that I had a few good movies lined up in my Quickflix queue, so imagine my disappointment when I opened up the envelopes and found Wondrous Oblivion, American Splendor and The Sports Pages. Now American Splendor looks like it has potential, but the other two? I could just be biased against movies that fall under the sports comedy genre, but seriously, how on earth did Quickflix get the idea that I was into those kinds of movies? Most of the movies I rent are sci-fi/action/comedy/romance, and not once in the last year have I rented a movie that involves moving a ball around at high speeds.

Anyway, enough of my rant, I guess I should go outside and enjoy what’s left of the day. And possibly watch American Splendor later.
